Burning tongue is a very irritating indication of menopause. Burning tongue happens when someone experiences a burning feeling on the tongue.

  • Metallic or bitter taste in mouth

  • Yeast infection
  • Bad oral health
  • Acidity
  • Endocrine disorders
  • Irritating dentures
  • Side effect of certain medication
  • Hormonal changes during menopause

Natural Home Remedy Using Mint Leaves:

  1. Take a jug of hot water
  2. Crush a handful of mint leaves
  3. Mix the mint leaves paste in water
  4. Cover the vessel and leave for 1 hr
  5. Strain and store the mixture
  6. Drink 1 glass of this liquid 3 times a day

Natural Home Remedy Using Onions, Garlic and Milk:

  1. Peel and crush 2 washed onions
  2. Place the paste on a sieve
  3. Add 3 tsp of freshly crushed garlic paste
  4. Press the mixture to extract juice
  5. Add this juice to 1 glass of hot milk
  6. Gargle with this mixture 2 times everyday


  • Chew sugar free gum or suck an ice cube for temporary relief
