Previous days I met a friend and found her becoming short-tempered, snappy and tired. On asking I got to know that she had dropped from her job, further her mother informed me that she weeps all the time and eat nothing. The same type of situation we often notice in our surroundings with some change like irritable, anxious, over eating or under eating, constantly tired, nail biting, bursting into tears for no good reason, finding it difficult to sleep at night and losing your sense of humor. You know what this is? This is stress.
Stress is a psychiatric illness in which your vitality is reduced and your emotional state is low. People typically become stressed when their lives have lost delight and any sense of meaning or hope. Occasions for stress include the death of a loved person, prolonged failure of one’s projects, school or college ends or begins, the loss of beauty and one’s health and vitality. There are some foodstuffs that make stress worse like coco, coffee, junk food, fast food, and sweet carbonated beverages including soft drinks. So cut down them in your diet in stress.
