The hangover could last for more than 24 hours causing headache, drowsiness, concentration problems, dry mouth, dizziness, fatigue, gastrointestinal distress, sweating, nausea, hyper-excitability and anxiety.

Natural home remedy using coffee and lemon juice:

  1. Take 1 cup black coffee
  2. Add 4 tbsp lemon juice
  3. Mix well
  4. Drink for quick relief

Natural home remedy using bananas:

  1. Consume 2 bananas
  2. Soak the banana peels in water for 1 hr
  3. Drink this water

Natural home remedy using ginger:

  1. Chew ginger 2-3 times a day
  2. This prevents nausea

Natural home remedy using apple:

  1. Drink 3 glasses of water at bedtime
  2. Drink 3 glasses of apple juice throughout the next day



  • Never consume alcohol on an empty stomach
  • Do not drink alcohol too fast
  • Alternate alcohol with a non-alcoholic drink like water
  • Consume starchy foods will drinking, this will reduce the alcohol absorption
  • Do not drink or eat anything sweet while drinking
  • Drinking liquids like soup will strengthen the stomach for eating
