Posted by Health & Beauty Expert on

Osteoporosis affect on bones decrease its overall bulk and thickness leading to a bigger threat of fracture. In this bone disease, bone’s mineral density which is also called (BMD) starts to reduce leaving more vulnerable situation for the sufferer. The World Health Organization (WHO) has classified this disease as primary type 1, primary type 2, or secondary. "Osteoporosis is a disease that lowers bone mass and weakens bone tissue,” explains Debra Spatz, DO, an osteopathic orthopedic physician. “While it’s often considered an older person’s disease, it can strike at any age.”

Osteoporosis Symptoms: With Osteoporosis, the risk of bone fracture becomes more perceptible. Medically termed as fragility fractures, these fractures could occur in Osteoporosis disease especially in parts like rib, hip and wrist. “Drinking and eating three servings of low-fat or fat-free milk, yogurt or reduced-fat cheese each day can give your body the calcium and vitamins it needs for strong bones,” Debra Spatz says.
