Posted by Health & Beauty Expert on

Tinnitus could be refer as sound sensitivity of ear. It is a type of sound within the ear eliminating external sound referring to a ringing sound. Ross McKeown is president of the Tinnitus Association of Victoria as he describes, “Tinnitus is a sound that is actually being generated in the brain, we thought for a long time it was being generated in the ear, we now know that's not the case. People hear a variety of sounds. In fact, we know at least 50 different sounds.”

He further says, “It doesn’t matter what you do or what your status is in life, when tinnitus hits you, it can hit you really hard. Many of them are suicidal. I don't want to overdramatise it, but thoughts of suicide are very common in the early stages with tinnitus.”
